Spaz Stix Pearl Paint provides an amazingly deep finish with it's high pearl content. This unique product sprays on transparent, then when backed with a solid color, creates a beautiful iridescent effect, giving your R/C body a very "high-end" look!

*IMPORTANT: When sprayed, this color is very translucent (see through), and it will appear that little or no color is being applied. Please be sure to apply a few even coats and let dry before applying the backer. Do not apply heavy coats, as any "runs" in the paint will cause an uneven finish. The backer color will show through the pearl, creating the desired iridescent effect. Our favorite is to back with black for a dark, deep finish, or white for that classic pearl look, but you can experiment with the backer color of your choice to create truly custom, one-of-a-kind finishes. You can even "double-stack" Pearls to get more than one highlight.

What makes Spaz Stix Ultimate Mirror Chrome so popular? Being able to see your reflection every time you look at it! Ultimate Mirror Chrome can be used as an accent, main theme, or "Candy" backer. Use it in combination with Spaz Stix Candy Colors for a colored chrome effect, or on it's own for a true chrome appearance on your bumpers, grill, and trim.

Ultimate Mirror Chrome is specifically formulated for use on polycarbonate R/C car and truck bodies. It is applied "inside" the body, and shines through the clear plastic. Ultimate Mirror Chrome MUST be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209) to achieve desired results. If the Ultimate Mirror Chrome is not backed, it will wipe away easily, and will have no durability.

When using Ultimate Mirror Chrome on an "external" application, or surface other than polycarbonate, it must be applied over a base coat of the Ultimate Black Backer. It will be necessary to seal the Chrome with Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909). Apply clear coat in very light coats, with ample drying time between coats. Applying too much clear at once will turn the Chrome into a grey color. Please note: It is difficult to achieve the full reflective qualities of this paint when used externally. ALWAYS practice on a scrap piece before proceeding with your project.

      • BRUSH: Apply generously 2-3 coats with a flat (Nylon/Foam) paintbrush. Allow the first coat to completely dry before applying a second coat. Dry time around 1-2 hours at room temperature.
      • Pro-Tip: Speed up drying time by using a hair dryer or heat gun.
      • Clean the spray gun or brush immediately with water.
      • Cut your whole design into the fully dried liquid mask with a sharp hobby knife before painting.
      • Peel the mask away from the darkest paint color section first, spray your paint, and repeat, going from the darkest paint section to the lightest until completed.
